About Spectrum Pictures
Spectrum Pictures has been covering Eastern Europe for 14 years. Founder Lee Malis started the agency in 1992. Malis came to the Czech Republic in 1990 to cover the transition of former Eastern Bloc countries for international magazines, newspapers and corporations. Through his contacts with photographers from the region and contacts with the Western media, Malis was able to put together an agency that is both fair to its photographers while providing the best local talent to clients.
We do what we say we will
Spectrum Pictures has thrived on its reputation of providing the highest quality photography on deadline. We do what we say we will. We will make a deadline if we say we will and we tell you if we can't find the picture or photographer. Our photographers are the best in the region or we wouldn't use them.
We have more than 25 photographers contributing to the agency from all over Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. We also have an online database of more than 15,000 pictures available on the website.
